Automatic vacuum sealing of ink cans
The Vacumatic® automatically vacuum-seals opened ink cans, keeping printing inks fresh for longer and preventing skinning. By removing virtually all oxygen from the can, the ink remains usable for longer, allowing spot colours to be stored for future repeat jobs. This reduces ink waste and lowers material and disposal costs.
The vacuum sealing process is fully automatic and easy to operate. Place the opened ink can with its original lid into the Vacumatic®, start the cycle, and the system will create a reliable vacuum seal. Once the preset vacuum level has been reached, the machine switches off automatically.
The Vacumatic® is supplied complete with a special can opener for the safe removal of the lid and an anti-skinning spray to ensure an optimum seal and maximum ink shelf life.
